We’re a small eco-tenting joint on the south shore of Nova Scotia. We’re a 10 minute drive from surfing, a few minutes from the Rails to Trails for biking or walking, and a 12 minute drive to the town of Port Medway. The tents offer queen beds, solar showers and composting toilets, outdoor kitchen areas with BBQ, picnic basket breakfast service, solar powered lighting, even easels for mark making to document the beauty and solitude. We aren’t upscale and don’t aim to be, instead we offer a unique stay that will let you enjoy the landscape and surroundings. We love where we are for the rugged beauty of the woods and waters and know you will too.

Spooky, mossy, beautiful and serene. All the things we love about the Acadian Forest Biosphere are here. Take a ‘Forest Bath’ and feel the city stress melt away, or have a well earned rest after a day of bike touring. Or whatever. It’s your vacation.
Come sit on the side of the ocean and prepare a fire cooked meal, head out for a paddle, or just watch the sun go down where the Medway river meets the Atlantic.

Non-human animals seen on site include deer, bobcats, porcupines, otters, owls, eagles, and many more. At B.K.S we provide a space where all of us can enjoy each other’s presence and benefit from some time together.
